About this game
Stake Runner is a simple rising-line game with a 0.0–5.0 scale. Place a stake during the pause, then optionally cash out during the climb.
How it works
- Registration gives you 1000 points to start with.
- There is a 10‑second pause between runs.
- During each pause:
- Enter a stake in the text field.
- Click “Place stake” to lock that stake for the next run.
- If you don’t place a stake, the stake for the next run is 0.
- During the run:
- The line climbs at a constant speed at a 45° angle.
- Click “Cash out” once to cash out using only your stake (stake × current value). A dotted amber line is left at your clicked value.
- The run continues to the target even after you click, to see what you could of got to.
- If you do not click before the line reaches the target:
- Only the staked amount is lost; your remaining points are preserved.
- If you did not click, the background turns red to indicate you lost those points
Display and controls
- The dotted “Current” line moves with the dot showing the live value.
- If you click to cash out, a dotted “Clicked” line marks the cashed value.
- The “Place stake” button is available only during pauses; the “Get current value” button is available only during runs.
- The stake input is disabled during runs and enabled during pauses.
Notes
- Only one cash‑out click is allowed per run.
Tip: Experiment with smaller stakes to understand timing before placing larger ones.
